Corinne in Sofia, Bulgaria just before Christmas. Before I went everyone told me I was mad, that it was a former communist country and that they'd lock me up. Well, I couldn't resist it so... first of all I went down to the 5 star hotel lobby, dressed like this, and sat in the bar there. No reaction except that the entire hotel staff seemed to find a reason to walk past ! So far so good, so I caught a tram into the town centre and walked along one of the main shopping streets for an hour. Still OK... everyone was very friendly, if a little surprised ! Good old Bulgaria. Well yes, I WAS very conservatively dressed for once ie. no bare tummy on display ! |
| Corinne à Sofia en Bulgarie, juste avant Noël. Avant d'y aller, chacun me disait que j'étais folle, qu'il s'agissait là d'un ancien pays communiste et que je me ferais enfermer. Mais bon, je ne pouvais pas résister, alors... tout d'abord je me rendis dans le hall de cet hôtel 5 étoiles, habillée ainsi et je m'assis au bar. Aucune réaction ; pourtant, la totalité du personnel de l'hôtel semblait trouver des raisons pour passer auprès de moi ! Jusque là, tout allant bien, je pris un tram pour le centre ville pour me promener une heure durant sur l'avenue principale, bordée de magasins. Toujours OK... chacun se montrait aimable, encore qu'un peu surpris ! C'est chouette la Bulgarie. Il est vrai que j'étais habillée de manière très conservatrice, c'est à dire, pas le nombril à l'air ! |
